>>2338509>>2338522Then what even is the point in literally doing anything? If we're all destined to burn in Hell for all eternity because of original sin, then what is the point in repenting? What is the point in doing any deed, good or bad if the outcome is the same?
And if having faith in Christ is the only way to get into Heaven, then why even bother saying that all are destined to burn in Hell for doing bad things to begin with? There have been a great many people who genuinely had faith whole heartedly in Christ but are destined for Hell.
What is the point in bothering literally anyone about the concepts of Heaven or Hell when it's all rendered moot in the end because of a new world, a New Jerusalem? If there's going to be essentially a "do over" in a second form of life, then what is the point in this one?
Can you see why this might just be a tad bit confusing...? And answers given are just "the Bible says it's so". Okay, fine, but WHY is it written as such? "Because God said so." But why?
>BecauseAnd the entire religion is just bits and pieces of other religions mashed together, so does that mean those other religions are incorrect? If the Bible is correct, but the Bible takes parts from other religions, then logically those other religions are correct... but you would argue that this is not the case. That only the Bible is the one true word. But how can one word be correct, but the same word from something else be incorrect?
