Lead plumbing was mandatory in Chicago for a long time. And you know as well as I do, that they don't get shit done here with construction, so they only got around to replacing around 30% of it, at most. So not only is there 70% lead plumbing, but its like 60+ years old. Also, if they're putting chlorine in the water to kill germs and bacteria, imagine how bad those fucking germs and bacteria are. and thats just cracking the surface.
