I could've sworn my friend's house was haunted. Before he moved in the house, it was an abandoned wreck; and whenever I walked passed it I would see strange things. Once there was a shadowy figure in a window, and another time a TV was on. There was also a creepy broomstick in the front lawn at one point, as well as a raggedy paper note taped to the door that I was too pussy to read. Keep in mind that this house was run down and supposedly abandoned. Even after my friend and his family eventually moved in and made all of the proper renovations, the spooks continued. The basement lights had a habit of flickering on and off by themselves. A few times, his computer would suddenly shut down out of nowhere. And there was the case of things falling off of shelves and doors slowly drifting open that you would expect from a haunted house. Of course this stuff could be explained somewhat easily, whether it is a house inspector, bad electrical work, the wind, and so forth; but it is fun to theorize nonetheless.
