If people do think this way, can liberals really define conservative views as bigoted? I think not. You have literal biological reactions that are not based on propositions (like "fuck gays!"). The propositions come after the disgust. People justify their physiological reactions. So, while you can argue people should be made aware of their reactions, calling these reactions bigoted or immoral is actually unethical.
