I saw a thing that was 1.99 2 years ago- prosciutto and mozzarella- at the store and it is now 2.99. Stores and companies really thing "yeah, a 50% price hike, that'll do it". But what really pisses me off is that the inflation/hikes happen without warning so stuff that was like 70 bucks in 2021 is now 100 bucks and unacceptably expensive.
