I'm talking about looking past what is considered attractive and focusing on what bonus the protruding eyes, tongue and oddly shaped head would give the kid in it's environment
I can't think of any. Maybe if we were subterranean the eyes would serve well in low light conditions and maybe if our taste buds were sensitive enough to taste the air.. but we don't live underground and our tongues are not hyper sensitive.
If I were a breeder I would not breed for this type of kid. I'd go back a couple of steps. I see no practical use for it at the moment. I would however document the line and make note of it for future reference. It wouldn't be a total loss
