Being that pale in general is also not a good signal in men, if you can't grow hair in arms, at least a shadow of darker skin with a feeling of blood going underneath is a great improvement. I'd say the stupid bland faces, with angry attitude, big smiles or too neutral does not help. Not everybody has to be more bulky, but they are not the classic slim stylish 'academic', that I think it would be the best thing to use in their favour, a discrete to formal way of dressing.
