The problem for Labor is that the existance of these teal independents has sucked all enthusiasm away from them, Labor's primary vote intention has been stunted and what should be their prime policy "ICIC, emmissions reduction, iNtEgRiTy, etc." no longer belongs to them.
Labor would have much more grassroots support if not for this group. You can see friendlyjordies types frustrated by this but unable to criticise them
