speaking of poojeets, a colleague gave me a bag of some curry shit and i think i'm going to try it on sunday in a pan of chicken and rice. i'm curious to see how it'll turn out. last time i ate something of hers my worst suspicions were confirmed and the dish just tasted like the spice mix she used and the ingredients were indistinguishable. eggs? tasted like curry mix. tofu? tasted like curry mix. peppers? tasted like curry mix. carrots? tasted like curry mix.
we'll see what it's like if it's me that's cooking it. i wonder if i should even add parsley to this poojeet shit because i feel like parsley is so authentic and european it'll cut through the poojeet slop flavor too much
also the ingredients list is all in dutch so it must all be from suriname or indonesia or some shithole like that
