That's why it's so devastating when they end up not getting pregnant and cheat on/dump you, at least that's how it was for me. At the time you literally see the entire future you had envisioned for yourself together with her evaporate in front of you, that's what emotional attachment does to a motherfucker (and there are more than enough guys who can't handle the emotional turmoil and go apeshit as a result)
Like i know there's others out there that might fit the bill, but it took me half a year to even begin to unfuck myself from the mental place the whore put me in when she pulled her shit. Wish i could just turn off my mating drive and do my thing in peace, at least for the time being
