The nephew also got into drugs and gambling, so he must have had debts or just no source of income, barely scrapping.
He got pissed that the aunt was taking advantage of that inheritance of which his had had a share too. He wanted to either live in the flat or get some money share from it.
The aunt must have refused so he ulted her.
What a dumb shit, now he's gonna rot in prison at least 30 years for taking out a boomer. Definitely not worth it. He could have done it in a subtle way, stealthily and lived with the inheritance. But he snapped like an animal and just went for the kill.
