The concept is some people on Earth either believe they came from the stars, or they don’t know they came from the stars.
It is implying they have been able to leave this planet and come back for a mission.
Who knows? They could be Pledians, Orions, Mintakans, Arcturians, from Sirius, Andromeda, etc.
