Back in the Dojo, Lillith cannot concentrate on cooking. Her mind races, strugglign to make sense of the advertising she has seen; she scolds herself silently. She DOES have the power, and a simple squeeze can sometimes be all it takes to make a competitor tap their hand to signal the end of a match. Lillith thinks back to her loss to Zuni -- the big purple girl had known the exact angle to wrench Lillith's arm at to negate the power advantage Lillith thought she must have had.
Out on the training mats, some Dojo girls and a handful of non-Dojo members of the public are mingling, showing off new grappling techniques. But Lillith notices, all of them look so complicated -- 'duck under this, then twist this to the left'; 'step over here and pull back on that'. Lillith lumbers over to the group, who stop and gaze in awe as this mountainous creature looms over them.
"LILLITH WANT TRY GRAB AS WELL."
As one man rises an arm -- in an attempt to save his own life? You tell me -- Lillith grabs the accidental volunteer, with her bicep tight around his neck. The man's arms goes stiff above his head as Lillith raises him off the floor, and he pitifully swats at the back and side the big red grappling machine he has found himself caught in. As the man goes limp just a few seconds later, Lillith drops him down to the mats to a chorus of gasps. A quick flex of her arms, and Lillith returns to the kitchen, with a new submission hold in her arsenal, and a hunger for competition.
Having watched from the sidelines, DOG gives a small woof of approval, and follows Lillith back through the swinging door.
