For example the power flickered twice for about 5 to 10 seconds the past week from high winds. In both cases it didn't interrupt my video games because my tv, computer and router are all under backup UPS battery. Food I just want about a month of preps. Right now I would run out of water before food. Another reason for canned goods versus more expensive freeze dried or dry bulk.
Would love to have a class 6 shelter (per my list), but that just isn't realistic.
