Because if you weed whack before you mow your lawn the debris from the weed wacking gets tossed into the grass and then you mulch it all up and it disappears once u you cut the grass afterwards.
If you weed wack last then you toss all the shitty debris from weed wacking into the freshly cut grass and your yard looks like shit.
