>>16176824My favorite part of this story is when he holds up a Koran in front of multiple victims of his scams and gives the exact same "I swear on the Koran in'shalla Walhalla I'm a devout Muslim I can't lie to you, I'm not scamming you I'll pay you back" speech, only for him to use that money to gamble, talk about having sex with women he's not married to, drinking and eating bacon on stream.
This is actually how he scammed most of his money. He gave that exact line to a bunch of white western streamers who saw him holding a Koran and saying "I'm a devout Muslim" and they implicitly believed him and felt like they needed to help. When white westerners are confronted with a foreigners and their religion, they feel more compelled to "help" if say a white Christian guy held up a Bible and said "I swear to God I'm not scamming you, I'm a devout Christian". White people love to feel like they're helping poor brown people; they see one struggling and they just can't help it, the wallets and borders open up in an instant.
