>>19912561Read Elaine Pagels. The Pauline Apostilles and Luke were created by the Marcionites and Tertullian in Against Marcion calls Paul “the apostle to the heretics”. Him and Simon Magus are probably the same person. The author of Luke-Acts split the figure of Paul into two people, one of which is the Pharisee struck blind on the road to Damascus that we know as Saul of Tarsus, the other being Simon Magus. It has to do with the fact that many Gnostic groups claim Paul as their main apostle while Irenaeus claims Simon Magus to be the father of all heresy, and a lot of what the canon scriptures say about Simon Magus is verifiably untrue. And if you look at the two of them, there are a lot of similarities, mainly stemming from them both claiming to have met Jesus after His death. Paul’s Christ is a celestial being who imparts divine knowledge through revelation; that is, hallucinations/visions, like Enoch’s Metatron or Michael or Melchizedek in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
