>>20225106i have an older version of this one and while it does do pretty good for an electric smoker, its a LOT more fun to get an offset charcoal smoker and the quality of the meat is a lot better. you cant really get a pink smoke ring with an electric smoker. plus its a lot more fun when you are playing with actual fire. but i did start with an electric and then stepped my game up after a couple years with it.
