Mom said it's because they probably weren't used to seeing someone who looked so "working class" somewhere so fancy but I think she's just being nice. I've an unkind look that makes an average face unpleasant. My friends tell me I look angry but I don't know when it started. Some girls don't seem bothered by it in the slightest and treat me like a normal person, though I cant tell why. Most seem to expect me to hurt them.
