i can certainly seem doing this sort of thing when some patch totally removes some glitch that's been a cornerstone of a speedrun for a while, but the only significant things hitting the run are some week 2 weapon nerfs. would be insanely shitty to start playing on an old patch just because of that i think

the issue is that they're totally out of touch with reality and everyone around them does the same shit so they believe such things are standard. obviously the average american doesn't spend over $15 feeding themselves every single day
