It's just very awkward to grab a bite out of a pizza if you're not supporting it at the bottom or vertically placing it into your mouth. Because with nothing keeping the pizza straight, it naturally starts drooping down as you're taking the bite out of it, that's because of something called gravity. I'm pretty sure literally everybody makes sure to keep the pizza up with one hand after taking a bite out of it, and doesn't like it limping down towards the ground. There's the possibility of toppings falling off it, the pizza hitting and staining something, and that it's just ungentlemanly. It's downright animalistic to let the pizza dangle down like that, you're supposed to keep it upright and place it back on the plate or whatever, you know? When it's slumping down, you naturally panic and quickly move the pizza to it's resting spot because it flopping down to the ground is just no good, your nature literally understands that even if you consciously don't, and commands you to put that pizza down as quickly as possible before it points towards to the ground. If you don't have that happen and slowly place a pizza down even when it's depressingly looking on the ground, then, I don't know, you're just weird. It's simply no way to treat a pizza, anyhow.
But besides manners and nobility, like I said before, there's still the risk of it staining something or the toppings falling out of it, it's not that far-fetched at all to say that it could ruin your experience, and that's exactly what's about to happen to her, I'll get to it later.
It's like one of those wooden bridges that have half of the planks missing from them, that you would see in a horror movie or something. When you're eating a pizza with one hand or something, without supporting the torso, you're picking the bridge that's falling apart and will most likely kill you, over the one that's perfectly built and stable.
