Even if yearly tuition would be a laughable 10k (highly unrealistic), that's a huge amount of money for someone with the mean income of 93k (before tax).

Besides, are you poor because you have to pay income tax? I don't think so, people with less also pay it. Comparing intelligence and wealth makes no sense. One can buy the other, but not vice versa.
