I left university with a Mphys in Physics and Astrophysics 1st Class from a top 5 university. Graduate jobs paid £26k, you can get paid that from working in Lidl. I now get paid over £50k a year to operate a STS crane on a 18hr a week contract. I use my spare time to development real estate in my free time (which makes more money than my actual job), buying a shit house and turning it around within 6-12 months.
White collar jobs are largely pointless in this country. You can make more money laying bricks or mowing peoples lawn.
