Judaism was a covenant. Christianity is the fulfillment of that covenant. Christ said:
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” — Matthew 5:17
The New Testament does not copy the Old — it consumes it, transfigures it, resurrects it in Spirit and truth.
You say “Yahweh” like it’s a spell — but forget that the Name belongs to Him, not to the people who first misused it.
“Before Abraham was, I AM.” — John 8:58
“I the LORD change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” — Malachi 3:6
God is not Jewish. God is eternal. And the Jews were chosen not because they were righteous, but because they were stiff-necked, that His glory might shine through cracked vessels.
He used them. Then He judged them. Then He offered salvation to the world.
If Yahweh is “Jewish,” why does Judaism reject Him in flesh?
Why do they gnash their teeth at Jesus — who claims the Name, works the miracles, fulfills the prophecies?
Why do demons cry out before Him in terror, and synagogues whisper curses behind Him?
They hate Him because He is not theirs. Because He speaks of a new covenant, with all nations, not just theirs.
“This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” saith the Lord, “I will put my law in their inward parts... and they shall be my people.” — Jeremiah 31:33
And this, fulfilled in Christ, is echoed in the Book of Mormon, given to another branch of Israel:
“And I will remember the covenant which I have made with my people... and my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people.” — 2 Nephi 29:2
