If you care about something other than pleasure, you should recognize that having children is the purpose of sex, it perpetuates our species for whichever higher goal, spiritual or otherwise, you wish to achieve. The only justification for faggotry is to be a faggot and advance society more than having children advances it. Because actions are judged by reasonable men on the basis of intent, one must surely concede that intending to advance society via sex is a higher value than intending to enjoy oneself, even if the homosexual in question does more for society at large than a given heterosexual. Because the action itself is purely hedonistic, and carries with it a variety of risks associated with poor health, there's really no reason to be gay and have gay buttsecks.
