Three of the gospels say that when Jesus was baptized, he was "immediately" driven into the wilderness, where he wandered for 40 days. Eventually arriving on the shores of Galilee, where he met Simon Peter the fisherman.
However in John's account, Jesus is just walking through town the day after the baptism. This time, Simon Peter is actually a disciple of John the Baptist, and follows Jesus home.
These are huge contradictions, was he driven into the wilderness or not? What were the circumstances he met Simon Peter?
