>>10011697There are multiple logical arguments against polytheism.
1) God is a perfect being. For multiple Gods to exist they would have to differ in some way. To differ from complete perfection would be imperfection and therefore not Gods.
2) God is an infinite being, therefore he cannot have parts. God's existence can't be a "part" of him, So there can't be more than one infinite beings.
3) If there was more than one God the universe would be disorderly due to multiple creators and authorities. Yet it is orderly.
4) If there were more than one God that were equally sovereign and they contradicted at any point, then it noncontradiction becomes useless as an indicator of truth. Without tests of truth there is no rational thought.
5) On the other hand if there were multiple Gods that are equally sovereign, and they all agreed on all points, since they are all equally sovereign neither can control the others, therefore no agreement between then could be guaranteed.
