Turns out, Iris is a shape shiftier. Also, Iris's can freely travel back and forth to and from the underworld. So.. Then I asked about the snakes, and my niece asked "well.. what if the snake in the garden of Eden is Iris (maybe an evolution). She explained further that Iris is the goddess of harvest, and correlated that to Eve harvesting the apple from the tree.
Then we looked at the Kabbala tree of life and death stuff, realizing what this thread is now talking about. Crazy I'm seeing this post after we were just looking at all of that stuff too.
Oh yeah.. and my 10 yr old niece is a super genius nord
