i think the reason they denied me is because you're supposed to denote who's speaking as speaker 1, speaker 2, etc. and the audio in the example had a situation where it was really ambiguous whether 2 new people were introduced just for a 6 word exchange or there was a different mic being used for that portion.
given that the background noise was totally different and those 2 people literally would've said 3 words each if they were new speakers i assumed it was people who were already talking and just sounded different because of new acoustics, but i guess i was wrong
