>>13559081Remember those news about China from a few days ago? Well they're not stopping there. They are now banning any sort of lgbt content from their games, as well as banning effeminate men from all forms of media. Now this is quite the double edged sword for us. It'll no doubt impact the games we get as well, as publishers know how important it is to have something sell well in China. So we'll get less lgbbq stuff on one hand, but on the other games will get dumbed down more than they already are because China is banning moral choices as well. Which, if done right, are a great way to teach children that the world is not black and white, and that seemingly good decisions can have negative ramifications and vice versa.
What I'm especially interested in is the background to this decision. Did the CCP make it after observing how destabilising all the "progress" proved to be for the West? Though I can't really say much that's positive about the decision as it comes at the expense of freedom of thought. The trade-off is just not worth it.
If nothing else I hope this will be a wake up call to all the woke morons who think that communism is liberating. Not even the most prosperous communist regime in the world tolerates them.
