>>9204530Lazarus reclines on Abraham's chest. The gentiles in the future will enter into the kingdom of God while the unfaithful jews will be cast out. This is a future event, It is not present. All throughout the bible death is referred to as sleep. People sleep until the trumpet sounds or judgment day. Without resurrection we do not exist (if we are dead).
Ecc 9:4-6
4 But he who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun.
It seems to me that both Lazarus and the rich man have received their reward. Before even having a trial!
Why would the rich man want Abraham to send someone to warn his family if dead people have no love or hate, the rich man seems to still love his siblings.
Look at what Abraham man says
Luke 16: 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”
Now here is the thing, they were conviced when someone raised from the dead.

43 When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.” 44 The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

Its a parable mate, there is a reason why verse 45 is in the bible, to make sure you know that the rich man and lazerus is not litteral.
