>2.How do you feel about it becoming more popular and mainstream recently?doesn't really matter to me all that much. the vast majority of people who like kpop are completely insufferable for one reason or another so i do my best to avoid the "kpop community" at large. though more fans tends to mean more content and more western fans tends to mean more content gets subbed in english faster which is nice.
overall how niche it is or isn't doesn't really effect my enjoyment of the music and i don't go to concerts or anything so it's whatever
