Totally not fake
It is tragic
I have swam in natural springs like this
The sides run sharply downward from the banks and they are muddy/slick
They fight for footing, but only slip deeper down from the bank
I am a strong swimmer and had trouble getting myself out from swimming in springs like this
I never panicked though... poor swimmers will die
