It seemed like a more mature star wars. Some kid figures out hes got powers and a destiny and sheet. The main theme I got was the classic American comic book theme of 'ordinary bloke discovers he has special powers and with great power comes responsibility etc.
I remember one of his powers is that he (and his followers) could point their fingers at you and make gun noises and it would blow you up.
