>The Lomre Empire - Desert Bulls
>A well-settled mixed-legislation headed by a ruling body of emperors headquartered in the Aequuian Penninsula (located far south, somewhat east of the Ruins of Noridvir), Lomre claims descendant to the greatest of the old human nations who once ruled the world during Confluencia's golden age, having a few intact structures of the period meticulously kept in continuous use through centuries of maintenance and juxtaposed against the less sophisticated, but no less grand new temples and architecture made to compliment and venerate the Lomre's glorious past. It was Lomre that discovered the Gemi, Vexeltrons, and Amazonian tribes during their campaigns across the greater region and it is their distant dream to one day unite the surrounding wastes into a state as large as the legendary country they observe progeny.
>Lomre's defining feature is its organized religion independent of the machine veneration so common with her peers, the insular and distrusting nature of individual shaman long dispelled for an organized hierarchy of diviners and oracles said to contain a link with the immortal gods of the world. The latter does this through consumption of a drug which gradually renders their voice hoarse and guttural until they can only speak through eerie, resonating hymns and chants, said to be on the frequency most easily heard by the divine, allowing them direct dialog to such beings as the Patrons of War and the Heavens. It was through these dialogs that the diviners claim to have learned the reason to the downfall of the old nations of the world, that reason being their rejection of the gods in the name of technology and false idols, and from that perspective Lomre seeks to ensure that what machines it retains from the golden age serve man, and not the other way around.
