Talked about more here, I mean. As much as we - Europeans - owe a lot to ancient Greek philosophers, I think their binary approach to spirituality and morality, and endless, pointless debates, known in Christian tradition as scholasticism, is - as was said - very simplistic and rather childish.
It looks like mind which just learned to think in terms of absolutes, as in math (infinite, omnipotent, perfect, all-knowing, absolute good, absolute evil, etc.), and applies it to everything, even to the things outside of the domain of math, in a "look ma! no hands!" fashion.
Christianity is the worst combination that one could thought of - of the alien, Middle Eastern, fanatical and exclusionary mentality, with the European approach to objectivity in its most immature form. Complete tragedy.
