I have been putting thought into this for the past week, and am going to try to reduc e the amount of oil in my diet
My considerations so far
- Oil is processed. It is manufactured on a large scale for cooking, and its once natural roots (such as pressed sunflower seeds) are now removed.
- Company's are incentiviced to reduced costs and simplify the process. Cheap oil is abundent.
- It is added to a lot of food stuff.
- Outside of the modern diet, this stuff would have been a fairly low percentage of your dietry intake, but that has now ballooned with modern food processing.
- People are getting fatter. I wonder if the increase in dietry intake of oils is upregulating hunger.
- I also believe this to be true of sugar intake btw
