>>22214318>What kind of old books? I have a few old bibles, the kind they made covers out of with wood from the olive tree in Israel. I also have Church's Iliad and Odyssey from 1905, some Shakespeare book from 1893 and The Cynics Dictionary from 1905. Oh so cool I love classics and old reference material. And such perfect selection's. Pick a random volume of Homer and flip to the passage in it and that will tell you what you need to do; if you tell the passage to me and I can help you interpret it.
>I have some other books that aren't old, like a 26 volume encyclopedia about plants and uses and the Foxfire series, but desu the only one i read was the Cynics dictionaryOh the Foxfire series is on my reading list; would love to memorize all that stuff and go camping. What is the encyclopedia on plants; I am always looking for new reference material to catalog and download and archive. I have 1911 Britannica, Wikipedia, and the Harvard Classics all on my HD. A book on plants would be a nice addition.
>Any new objects you are looking for lately>Just a singer treadle like i mentioned. They are not hard to find at all, 30 million were made and just about every household had one so they are cheap. Oh you are going to sew with that; it sounds so cute I love old aesthetic stuff like that; makes me think of a doll house in the Victorian age or something like so!
>I just haven't picked one up yet. I've also been looking to get a Liege fighter rooster. What antiques do you collect or maybe you don't know until you see it, which is typically what i do.You breed chickens? Ever consider putting them in a cockfight or something? Might win big heh. Typically the antiques I collect or things within my interest, older pulp fantasy books and decorations for my place, I like the objects from the early 1900s, though I do like buying fine art as well to decorate my home. There is something magical about the antique and the luxuriant; don't you think?
