You're forgetting the reason it can't be terraformed is because it has an extremely weak EM field, so any atmosphere you try to put on it would just float off into space. Venus on the other hand, very stable EM field and is already nearly the same size as earth, so respectable gravity already. Only problem is the dense and corrosive as fuck sulfur cloud permanently surrounding the planet. Gotta figure out a way to deal with that shit first. Frankly, Venus is a hell of a lot more viable as a terraforming target.
