There is no slippery slope here. The law literally specifically says that it is illegal.
No possible way to fight this. No way of arguing "but you are expanding the scope". No way for a judge to interpret this in any other way.
Similarly, the law in Brazil is obvious about this as well... but in the opposite direction, their law specifically states that it covers only REAL (have that word in the law) people.
Only the USA is schizo about it, because different states do different things. But since there are cases of people being jailed for shit like it is hosted on gelbooru, the only sensible action for a US company is to delete it.
If you want to fight a legal battle... cool, do it yourself... don't demand from Cloudflare to do it for you.
Or you could just host in Brazil instead.
