>>9611608I've worked as a valet driver for several years for a very well off high end casino resort. Very ritzy! Lots of money flying around. Not only have I found that the people with the nicest cars tip the least (if they even tip at all) but that they are also the biggest assholes. I would rather deliver a '96 Honda than a Lambo or a McClaren because I'm much more likely to get a good tip. The Lambo guy might tip me $2 or maybe even assault me (yes this happens to atleast one of us atleast twice a week). I've been tipped $100 from people who have the shittiest cars. Like I'm talking their car is full of sand and it's full of dirty old brown bags and it stinks and they tip really good.
Now ofcourse being a casino obviously the casual gamblers who get lucky feel generous. But we got those regulars who show up with their fancy cars every night we know they are paying high limit games and they almost never tip.
But I really dont care about the tips so much, money is nice but I'm humble enough to understand when people cant afford to tip or just dont want to, that's their choice as is the custom of tipping. What really gets me mad is these rich assholes acting like they own the place and assault me or my fellow employees. One of our guys has been out for 4 months cuz someone broke his ribs.
We have rules, like any establishment, but these guys come in and try to walk all over us. God bless our security team and the state police who work with us. If you saw what I saw every single night you'd realize that most of the lower-mid rich class of people are degenerate assholes who think they are above the law. I've seen so many people get arrested at this place just for being psycho fucks who think that their money can buy the law. I'm glad our local law enforcement isnt corrupt... but watch out for Italians just in case. Italy is a great country but Ameritalians are straight up bigger tier.
