People who say that kind of stuff are the midwits who don't realize how they are also a clump of cells by the same reasoning, in the most fully extent. They'll say something like "but my brain has electricity n' shit" or some other nonsense as an attempt to justify their own existence over those they want to kill. They don't really know why they say that, they never thought too hard about it, it just sounds right in their narrow thinking. They were raised not in trying to understand deeper questions regarding their own existence and that of all things, but in deriding any concept of higher meaning that escapes their immediate urges, in condescending diatribe.
