where do you put your non-gambling money? is there a simple portfolio i can follow (like specific index funds) to fit my risk profile? i have been doing 66% VTI and 33% VXUS, but i should balance that with bonds to not get destroyed with a recession or something right

ive been buying canadian ETFs a la VGRO and VEQT but i want to stop buying things with heavy canadian exposure and buy equivalents in the US if they exist. do any of you know corresponding ETFs that i can buy in CAD on the TSX so i dont eat conversion fees? this is kind of a follow on question to the americans one, i basically want to move my 'non-gambling' canadian investments to be american ones because i dont have faith in our country anymore
