You know songs that you wouldn't put on by choice but you also wouldn't skip it if they randomly came on? That's these for me.
Always feels weird when you don't feel anything for stuff that other people call masterpieces, like I'm missing something and it's my fault, but that's not really how it works with music. You can simply not have the taste for something.
So I guess I'm just not into the genre here. For reference, I never had a liking to the The Beatles or any British band stuff similar to that. Which this can be grouped together with, right? I'm clueless when it comes to what makes genres, so I don't even know.
It's the one corner of music that I could never understand why people praise so much. But because of literally everybody saying it's good, I just amount it up to me being plebeian or something, and always give assurance when somebody says they really like it because I don't wanna seem weird. In reality I can't get myself to put on a single British pop track, and it's not even that I didn't give them a try.
It's basically the exact same thing I experience not caring for religion in an all-muslim country, lol.
Just way more of a Happy Hardcore guy when it comes to UK-made stuff.
