Sure, it's cheaper, and generally quieter, but despite there being people on all sides of you it still somehow feels incredibly lonely. Only thing to really do during summer is to watch the fireflies come and go, and that's about it.
At least in a city you can leave the house, find a place, and chill and there would always be a stranger nearby. I like talking with strangers and having brief, casual conversations.
There's only so many times I can tell my neighbor to take care of their dog before it gets tedious.
