>>11390039>disgusting topicswell those were extremes I gave, the one that irks me more actually is when I'm talking to somebody and they keep interjecting this person in their life (bf, gf, ex, brother, sis, friend, acquaintance, mum, dad, x, y...) amd use their stories, their life, their success, their hobbies and using them as if it were theirs
examples: I talked about attack on titan one time and this one girl said out of nowhere her bf reads the manga, or once I talked to this guy on uni about where I'm from and he interjected that his gf has a vila (or however you call it in english for a vacation house) in my town, or one time I made wok for this girl and she just said her auntie makes frappadocious wok...
like what are you getting with these, you are not sharing something that's in common with us, you're just pretending other people's badges are your own in order to balance or lives as "similiar in weight" despite you offering nothing to the conversation
like, atleast I add my experience with this kinds of shit and use others as context: for example; my sisters are nurses, as a kid I'd read their study materials, when it comes to medicinal trivia I often get shit correct and when people ask me how I know it I say "my sisters are nurses and from curiosity I read some of their study materials and thus know some parts of medicial lingo"
though this was before highschool, but a better example doesn't come to my mind
