Interestingly, with opioids, it potentiates the effects, euphoria, and then counter-intuitively reduces the addictive potential, physical and mental. Also reduces withdrawal symptoms. Fascinating shit. There are several studies out there detailing this with morphine in particular. I can 100% confirm it with kratom myself as an anecdote.
