The issue here is at minimum, 30% to 40% of the male population is supposed to be killed off. Through war, through workplace injuries, through stupidity and roughhousing.
This is a natural purging that culls the male population, leaving only the tall, strong, deep voiced alphas who have their head in the game left to breed with all the women.
All throughout history this was the norm. Just think about the recent history of Europe. The 100 years war, the 30 years war, the Spanish and Italian wars of succession, the Napoleanic wars....it's endless. In each of these wars, something like 50% of the young male population in the country's involved was massacred.
This isn't a tragedy, this is a natural bloodletting that MUST occur in order to keep the gene pool healthy. This is how you keep society from degenerating into a pile of shit.
The biggest problem with modern society is all these culls (people that should by rights be killed off) hanging around do to modern comforts and an era of peace and stability.
