physically, there is something and nothing. the entire universe consists of 'things', even light has a physical presence. this all takes place in an empty space. nothingness is like a veil. the creator is hidden just behind it. at best scientists could discover the first thing that took place in the physical realm, but you will never get an instrument that can see beyond nothing. God sits just outside the empty space. There will never be a conclusion to creation from physicists. It simply can not be known that way. You know it through spiritual practice.
