>>17469499yes these interventions to make fantasy more palatable to retarded crybaby cripples and crazy people do have a tendency to turn things incredibly mundane and/or retarded. of COURSE it would be more interesting to have some magical solution to cripples but these people aren't imaginitive enough i guess. the people in that thread were asking "why are there even wheelchair bound people in a fantasy setting with healing spells" and it's a legit question. the easiest solution is to just have the person be an amputee who lost a leg or two when there were no healers around and that solves that but i guess it's unthinkable to not have literal 1:1 representations of real world cripples.
